David was asked by a newspaper to create this on the announcement of Staley Kubrick's death. Kubrick directed the film " 2001 A Space Odyssey". He received the request at about 7:20 in the evening, to be emailed back to the newspaper before 7:45 that same evening ans the paper was "being put to bed" at that time
